Yates Funeral Homes - Coeur d’Alene Chapel


Our main facility was reconstructed at its original location on 4th Street in 1971 and remodeled, enlarged, and redecorated in 2006. This modern facility offers a homelike atmosphere that includes a large glassed foyer with a fireplace and comfortable furnishings. The new chapel accommodates seating for over 200 people and is equipped with the latest audio and video technology. We also incorporated the first crematory in Kootenai County on the premises of this facility in order to serve those families desiring cremation with the utmost privacy, convenience and respect.

Yates Funeral Homes - Hayden Chapel


The Yates family opened the funeral home in Hayden Lake in 1978 and extensively remodeled it in 1996. It continues to increase in popularity due to its new "gathering center", large chapel, and unique decor. It is a place for family and friends to gather for food and fellowship. It is a place to share stories and memories. It is a place to celebrate life. It is our Gathering Center. This facility can be used for a reception following a memorial or funeral service. It includes table seating for 50 people, a full kitchen and a small stage with lectern and microphone. The idea was originally conceived and developed by the Yates family and is receiving regional attention and interest.

Advanced Planning Center


Our Advanced Planning and Arrangement Center is located beside our Coeur d'Alene facility to provide a warm and comfortable atmosphere in which to make arrangements or pre-plan your services. In addition to burial and cremation merchandise, a wide range of memorial products are displayed, including: video tributes, flowers, keepsakes, guest register books, and custom service folders. Cemetery information, insurance and veteran's benefits are also available, as well as event planning and personal expression guides. This building was designed and built to give your family one facility in which to make all the arrangements and tailor their service to the unique personality being celebrated.
